Here at Combat Jujitsu Ryu, we recognise and understand the importance of both physical and mental health. That's why we believe in promoting health and well-being (physical and mental) in all aspects of our students' lives, including mental health.

Research has shown us that physical activity such as ours can have a positive impact on mental health by reducing anxiety and depression, improving cognitive function, and increasing self-esteem and confidence. Our classes focus on not just physical strength and ability, but also on mental and emotional resilience and well-being of our students.

We endeavour to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where our students feel safe and comfortable to discuss any mental health concerns they may have. Our instructors understand the importance of mental health and recognize signs of distress and offer appropriate support and referrals when needed.

We believe martial arts can be a valuable tool for improving overall health and wellbeing, and proudly affiliate with organisations that share our commitment to promoting and improving mental health. Together, we strive to make a positive difference in the lives of our students and the wider community.
